Last week was quite surreal. All good, just a lot to take in. So when it comes to reviewing what has been done, well not a lot. I am still DESPERATELY trying to finish Winnowing - well actually the border, which is so clever. It is taking me forever, and it is literally eating yarn. I am now rewarding myself if I do one repeat of charts B & C every night. Yes, it has come to this - does nayone do it like this for project they are struggling with?  I am thinking that I need to re-order some Rowan Kidsilk Aura, nooooo. Everyone who has seen the project in real is impressed, I am on the other hand fed up.

Winnowing in progress on Saturday night

So I was glad to receive I receive this picture in my inbox today...

Note, it is a German friend who sent it...

Hope you all had a good Monday!

Noas' Libellule {13% Mondays}

Hello guys! Happy Monday! How does the week come round so quickly? We celebrated in style my grand-parents' diamond anniversary. It was great to catch up with my family. Although it is not without its... challenges ... Let just say a lot of questions focused on having children - Was I intending to have any, when, what was I waiting for - at least they are stopping at giving me tips on how-to.. Phew!

The one picture that stood out is that of my brother with this (one of) beloved guitar. He played a solo for my grand-parents, and every time he plays I am just amazed how good he is (he played at our wedding as well - I got quite emotional then..). So here is, the man (well hands) and his guitar.

Full week this week - I have to work 5 days! What!! ... I definitely need a bit of humour. My Dad is a chemist, and this is perhaps why I find this very funny...

So what have you been up to this weekend? Anything exciting? Have a great week, guys.

PS: I have received a few questions about the blog, my HUNDRED post, my pictures... I will be running a FAQ post in a couple of weeks. So guys, you have until this Friday to ask me ANY question you want and I will try to reply to all ... in the best of my knowledge (by the way, we are intending to have children, just not now).

Noas' Libellule {13% Mondays}

Hello hello my lovelies! How are you all? Did you enjoy your weekend? It was great being on my own (loved M coming back too, of course), and chilling at home. I managed to almost finish my to-do list, yeah! More to come on this in the course of the week...

The weather is beautiful today, and to be fair it was all written in the sky yesterday when we went for a walk on the common...

Sometimes it is all about being at the right place, at the right time; I am not a plane-spotter, but I could not resist showing this picture... I never thought about it but living near an airport can be a photographic opportunity!

Finally... there are facts you cannot deny on Mondays.. and here is this week's...

Happy Monday guys! Hope you will have a great week...

Noas' Libellule {13% Mondays}

Hey... Monday again guys! How are you all doing? Did you have a good weekend? I hope so! We drove to France for a wedding (our fourth one this year, one more to attend), and managed to fit a visit to my parents.. We had an amazing time (wedding and parents)! It was SO worth us getting really lost on the way back and wasting two hours before finding the right motorway...

Also this weekend, I finally worked out why men have suit pockets: to hold M and my sunglasses! Genius! I am sure you know, it is not easy to take pictures with glasses... but now I have it all figured out.

On another note, I thought this humour post should be about mothers as it is my Mum's birthday this week. This label (via pinterest) made me think of her... I wonder why?

PS: If you want to know why this is 13% Monday, check out the first {13% Monday} post I wrote.

Noas' Libellule {13% Mondays}

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! We certainly enjoyed ours, I managed to get an interesting tan line in the process (tanning means sun, so that is all good).

I met a new friend. I think I took a 100 pictures of him coming out of his shell, but here is my favourite one ... I am sure he is posing for the camera!

Although I have been talking to the interior of my house many times in this blog, the exterior is no less important - it has always been on our to-do-list. And this weekend was THE weekend we were going to tackle it. And here is a picture to prove that someone was working really hard (and I am recording essential moments in the renovating of our house - a very important task).

And finally a bit of knitter humour for the start of the week ... Many of you may recognise themselves... I am certainly one to wear all the scarves I have knitted no matter what the weather is (guess what I am knitting at the moment, yes a scarf).

Happy Monday everyone!

PS: You are going to LOVE tomorrow's {buy it or make it} ? I will be reviewing one of my favourite items: BAGS! Some amazing tutorials to show you.

Noas' Libellule {13% Mondays}

Hiya Guys... Just come back from a long weekend away with Mr. M. This morning was really hard work for the two of us (3 snoozes on the blackberry-cum-alarm clock). And to be honest, I am still not really awake.

Made me wondered about Monday posts - what would like to work on? Clearly I love remembering the best bit of the weekend, but I need a bit of humour for the week ahead. You will remember my coup de coeur pictures of Mamika by Sacha Goldberger. They make me smile every time I look at them. And this is exactly what I need on Mondays, something to make me smile!

The post is called 13% Mondays, because of this quote:

'I always give 100% at work: 13% Monday, 22% Tuesday, 26% Wednesday, 35% Thursday and 4% Friday'.

The best bit of the weekend is the wedding of friends of ours in the Peak District.

Today's humour is quite topical, and I suppose, only for Harry Potter's fans.

Has not happened to me yet, but it may do!

What have you been up to this weekend?
Happy Monday everyone!

PS: This week will feature another new type of posts, involving shopping (I LOVE shopping) and making.. Stay tune, or follow me on twitter (@NoasLibellule) for sneak peeks at what's coming up.
